I.C : Epicenter XL After VICI Gaming recently claiming the 1st Position in Dota2 Professional League Season 5 (2018 S1) on April 22nd, it’s none other than another Chinese Team namely PSG.LGD also claiming their first title for the year i.e. EPICENTER XL on May 6th 2018. An exciting major which overturned the entire FAN’s & Spectators prediction. Epicenter XL started by inviting 5 major teams over the globe and 6 teams through their Regional Qualifiers, this makes the count to 11. Epicenter XL had a Madness Qualifiers, the winner of this qualifier would be promoted directly to the main LAN Event. Teams were striving hard to make their mark on the Event trophy as well sumptuous Cash Prize. Apart from the fame and glory there was one more thing at stake i.e. DPC points, as The International has already started to make its presence and with this teams have also started to get the invites for the same based on their DPC points. So far it’s Team Virtus Pro & Liquid who have successfully qualified for the same. It’s never easy to defeat a Team like Liquid in grand finals that also with a main score of (3: 1) but PSG.LGD was focused and confident that they had what it takes to be a Champion. The best of 5 series started and Game 1 was a comfortable win for the Chinese Giants. Game 2 started with Team Liquid having Invoker as their last pic in game. Miracle playing his signature hero dominated the entire laning phase. After his Aghanim’s Sceptre he dominated the team fights as well and secured a Rampage for himself and Game No 2 for his team. Game 3 the most important game of the series in which Miracle was again playing Invoker. Miracle gave the early game dominance to Liquid but they looked shaky in the Mid Game as PSG.LGD wiped them even after Liquid securing the aegis of the immortality, with the team wipe PSG.LGD rushed in to the middle lane and Liquid could do nothing except for seeing them breaking their throne. PSG.LGD were focused, they went ahead with the new Meta meanwhile Liquid was showing some versatility as always. Game 4 started with a Core Kunkka on Miracle. From the very beginning PSG.LGD out drafted Liquid it was just the matter of playing their casual game and making no mistakes from their end. With PSG.LGD taking advantageous trade after trade, Liquid struggled to keep up in what was clearly an uphill battle for them. With a final showdown in the dire base, Liquid fought to the bitter end before calling out the "GG" and waving the white flag. Xu “fy” Linsen was crowned as the MVP of EPICENTER XL.
